On the more pop punk side of things, I've been enjoying the Miller Lowlives album from last year. It's nothing terribly new, but they do a good Lawrence Arms impression if you enjoy that kind of thing.

was really great, the whole rowdy, shout-a-long atmosphere of a D4 show felt really cathartic after everything that's been happening.

It was Paddy's birthday so he was pretty lubricated and had a lot of words for ICE and the idea of community.

I like both of these bands

Itchy & The Nits were the cutest band I have seen... maybe ever. The cuteness is more part of their collective vibe really. We talked to them briefly and they were fucking adorable.

those are 2 bands I have been meaning to check out but haven't yet

saw GBH tonight, I've seen them several times but tonight they were really on form and the venue was a lot more suitable than last time I saw them, good atmosphere. I don't have anything punky lined up for a month or so but Flower and JJ & The A's are playing here at the end of March/beginning of April so that should be fun

really into the new landowner album "assumption" https://landowner.bandcamp.com/album/assumption (and their older stuff too)
not really sure how to describe it, it's very frantic and herky-jerky and a little devo-y but it's not egg punk, there are no synths and it's angry not goofy and it's punk but all the guitars are clean. the whole thing is good but the epic closer "normal returns to normal" is my favorite.
