Does anyone know about the band pearljam? What I need to know to win a bet is how much do they earn a year?

You won't find that out. They probably don't even know exactly themselves. Do you mean as a band as a whole or the individual members? That'll depend on who writes the songs, whether they have an album out in a given year etc. etc.

supposedly it's named after the peyote preserves concocted by one of their batty old aunts. Others theorize that, like 10cc and the Lovin' Spoonful, it is a euphemism for male ejaculate.
I suspect a mixture of the two. (by that I mean a mixture of the two theories...not a mixture of hallucinogenic cactus marmalade and man spunk.)
