are they barking or meowing at you? if they're wearing a collar and they respond to your questions with barking or meowing, they're probably furries and/or therians. in that case, ask if they have an owner or handler they can speak to. if they don't, tell them you're a top. this is the secret key to joining the "hermetic order" (which is almost certainly some kind of polycule) and winning "fame, freedom, powers".
