'The dead guy from sublime' wasn't into crack rock, as he attested in the lyric "I don't smoke the rock/only smoke sensi".

I can't think of any musos that DID it, but I know Fishbone wrote a great song called "Pray to the Junkiemaker" about it, and the spoken-word prelude "Junkiemaker's Prayer" is one of the most hilarious recordings I can think of..."my pusher/who ar't in the crackhouse/hollowed by thy bitches and hos/as for I am sprung/my rocks will be done..." What's the story with the Mars Volta? That surprises me. I don't know a ton about them but their rep is that they're super serious self-righteous dudes (which clashes with the vibe of crack dudes I have been acquainted with).
