The album was previously announced under the titles Lasso and The Right Person Will Stay with release dates set for September 2024, and May 21, 2025, but is now predicted to be released exactly a year later, on May 21, 2026. In an interview accompanying a 2025 photo shoot with W Magazine, Del Rey announced the album's new title as Stove.
