"Joey Ramone" is easy. I went with "Little Mouth," which gutted me on first listen.

"little mouth" or the title track

In retrospect it suffers from a lack of Janet Weiss, but the rhythmic undertow is so strong that they make up for it; this album's where I hear the B-52s influence most prominently.

Stay Where You Are or Good Things. Tough choice but went with Stay for this one.

Good album, obvs, but “Joey Ramone” is undeniable.

Fantastic album, so many great songs. Voted for “Stay Where You Are,” which has some of my favorite noises of any song, the way the crisscrossing vocals and guitars surge into this wave of fury and anguished. Cathartic. (“Good Things” would be a contender except that I listened to it a LOT during one tumultuous breakup and it still carries some of that trauma for me.)

I’d live to hear an alternative universe version of this with Janet, but I also like the loose garagey feel that the less precise drumming gives it.

I can hum every track, which means it's something special.
