To close out this series, hope to have given enough time to properly evaluate.

Thank U, Next by a mile.

For me Dangerous Woman and thank u, next stand well above the rest. I have a soft spot for the debut also.

I was underwhelmed by the last two records. sweetener is maybe her strangest, most inscrutable album to me. My Everything houses some bangers but is a bit too "let's throw everything at the wall and see what happens" and thus scans to me as incoherent.

Thank U, Next by quite a long way. Dangerous Woman is the only other one I ever go back to.

Wanted to explain why I included the EPs:

In December 2013, Grande released her first extended play, Christmas Kisses, which was re-released in December 2014 in Japan with the bonus track "Santa Tell Me". The single is now considered a modern Christmas standard for its popularity during the Christmas season throughout the years; it has reached the top 10 internationally and peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Global 200.[13]

Might vote Wicked just out of badness

Actual answer is between Sweetener, TUN and Positions, but I'm going to give it the taste test before voting

Thank U, Next has one banger after another, so that one, though I dig Dangerous Woman.

The Luda of Suburbia (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Thursday, 26 March 2026 13:21 (two weeks ago)

Making my way through this catalog, still have yet to decide but have some time.

to me 'thank u next' looms over her discography like it's the empire state building to the point that conversations ranking her albums seem kinda pointless to me

'yours truly' is a fantastic debut, she still doesn't get enough credit for the way they blended r&b and disney pop together so successfully. but she was also powerless and thus it has some really regrettable songs

i'm a big fan of 'positions' ... it's essentially her 'bedtime stories' -- a very strong homage to contemporary R&B that pales in comparison to the more singular albums in the artist's discography but when that context is stripped away and teh album is judged just on its own merits, it's a great front to back R&B album

the rest of these albums don't really register much for me. gay guys rate 'dangerous woman' really highly -- there's some great songs on that album but i also find it a bit anonymous. i'm probably in the rare group that prefers 'my everything'

'sweetner' & 'eternal sunshine' are the ones that are flat misses for me

I like how Dangerous Woman lets her get proggy with it in its final stretch.

Think i agree with J0rdan's Positions take except it might be my favourite because of that

whatever happened to that guy morrisp who posted here who was obsessed with Ariana? I found his passion for her music to be very inspiring and a little terrifying.
