Anyone heard them? I'm loving the EPs, will probably pick up the album (A Cat Escaped) soon. They seem to have all musical elements in the right place, and I appreciate that there are no overlong tracks. When they've released enough to have a proper Classic or Dud thread, my vote will be classic.

well their single is in my 'to be listened to' pile but judging by Matinee's success to failure ratio I'll be betting they sit on the quality end of the twee spectrum.

apparently on the Kings of Convenience album, some of the lyrics are 'based' on a letter written by the female member of Pipas..
