RAP RAP RAP: K-Tel compilation from 1988

Discussion on the De La Soul thread reminded me that the first place I actually heard them was on this 1988 compilation, which I picked up a promo copy of in the used bin at a record store shortly after it came out. It includes "Plug Tunin'," which had been released as a single ahead of the 1989 release of 3 Feet High. Good collection! Somebody at K-Tel was on top of things.

Big Daddy Kane for sure. (Funnily enough, I saw about half of these acts on one show - Public Enemy played near me about three months before Nation Of Millions came out, and Stetsasonic, EPMD, and Kane were the opening acts.
