Can you help me identify this cool bald bass player

I've been on a research journey with URGH A MUSIC WAR that you can read more about in this thread.

In the Urgh image archives from WB there are pics of this dude but he does not appear in the movie. So this would be a guy that was playing bass in LA, NY, or London during the New Wave/Post Punk era. Any help appreciated!

did pino palladino ever have a shaved head? he was with jools holland at the time, i haven't seen the full movie but the clip i've seen of jools holland in the movie doesn't have the full band, the layout of the bass pickups and knobs looks kinda like this one

But in the early 1980s he had a small mullet. The OP talks about "the Urgh image archives from WB". What are they? Are they internet-facing, or is this something you only get if you speak with Warner Brothers?

I tried to zoom in on his sunglasses, in the hope that I might find myself. What did I find? The same old fears. That's a music reference. Because this is I Love Music. I hope you appreciate that.

I have to say his general style doesn't gel with Urgh. If you had tied me to a chair, kept me awake for seventy-two hours, while spraying me with water, and you had then showed me the photo, I would place it in the late 1980s, and I would have suggested it might be one of the Red Hot Chili Peppers dressing formally as a joke.

Is that really a Precision bass though, the lack of a pickguard makes me wonder.

Looks like there's no dots on the bassman's fretboard, perhaps that's another clue
