New Basement Jaxx single-Acid Love

First impression, their most dancefloor record so far, in the sense that it's alot less pop than what they normally do. Kinda teasing acid house build up which never seems to explode but keeps threatening to, it really works. But the best part is that it's got another Jaxx vocal to add to the classics, typically weird voice singing "I've got acid. In My Brain. I don't need. No Cocaine".

Lyric of the year already! (Assuming year is 2003)

I really can't wait to see what they do wiv the new album, if they made a whole album as banging as this the live show would be even more the greatest live show around than it already is.

Yeah, acid is better than cocaine. Why doesn't anyone sell it anymore? (Err, I haven't heard this yet, but desperately want to)

anyone know where an mp3 can be found?

i got the like i love you remix, but its not really good apart from the weird rabeca in the end

Not sure about mp3, my friend got sent the promo and played it out last night, I had to post today while I still remember how it sounds!

Lamacq and Tong have been playing it now and then...i thought it was just a new promo and there were no plans to release it as a proper single (altho 9 times out of 10 promo tracks do end up as singles) - i need to hear it again as i've completely forgotten what its like

It's one of those Atlantic Jaxx 12"-es that don't mention the artiest bu are obviously by Basement Jaxx. This one is JAXX 024:

Junction EP
A1 Acid Luv
A2 We R Computa
B1 Skunkmuzic
B2 Get Yo Dam Hands Up

You can hear Acid Love in hour (uur) 2 of my November 16 radio show and Get Yo Dam Hands Up in hour 1 of the November 23 show.

I've never been a huge fan of Basement Jaxx, with the exception of some of the singles and the odd track here and there, but that sounds brilliant.

i should LOVE it then, given i dont seem to consider any one Jaxx track a duffer ever
