I like Matt's answer, even though the actual term - despite the fact that Co Flow released pretty much nothing on this label except some stray comp appearances - is "Def Jukies". Which sounds so goddamned ridiculous that you know these guys have more of a sense of humor than they've given credit for. (Exhibit B: Carlos the Midget!)

there's alread a name for it: Backpackers. it has nothing to do w/camping, but the fact that kids into Backpacker Hip Hop are usually white collge kids who are always wearing their Triple 5 Soul hoodies, headphones and backpacks, trying to look as "down" with the scene as possible. it goes for all that indie-hip-hop

I only started this thread because I was approached by a Cofarmer (thank you, Sterling, you win) via e-mail recently based on a CoFlow comment I've made here and long forgot over a year ago... It was a very respectable e-mail, but the idea of roving CoFlow minions just seemed really funny, that's all.
