What band have you seen the most?

Calling all Dead-Heads! Be honest please!

I'm not quite as interested in the where and when as much what the variety of settings and formats contributed to your understanding of the groop or person in question. I'm still thinking about my answer because I can't remember exactly but I think it might actually be Sonic Boom!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 14:37 (twenty-two years ago)

oh and DJs count, I think.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 14:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Do bands with your friends in count?

Anna (Anna), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 14:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 14:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Probably either Don Caballero or Come, neither band exists any more.

hstencil, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 14:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I've seen Chicago the most. 4 nights in a row when I was 10. My dad took me. Embarassing...

Chris V. (Chris V), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 14:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Even if they are not famous at all?

If so then it's my friends Tom and Lucas' band. They're called The Randoms and whilst I really like their music (because otherwise 10 or so gigs is really testing the limits of any friendship) I have been subjected to a lot of bad garage rock in the process of watching the support/ headliners. I can't really comment on them though, they're my friends, so it's just 'oh look at Tom singing' rather than anything more involved.

Real answer I think may be Orbital, or Kenickie (ulp). I need to think about this.

Anna (Anna), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 14:46 (twenty-two years ago)

if a band impresses me live once, then i have a hard time turning down another chance to see them again, and another, and another. the ones i tend to see the most are Baltimore and DC bands, because, well, they're here. i've seen Lake Trout and the Dismemberment Plan about a dozen times each. i kind of like the level of familiarity. you don't get as pissed if they don't play that one song you wanted to hear because, well, maybe next time. but then it gets hard to not compare each show to that One Back In The Day, Man Was That Awesome.

Lake Trout is for me always interesting, not so much because of the jam/improv element (which is less and less with them these days anyway) than because I've seen them in so many settings; I've seen them win over all kinds of people at street festivals, and I've seen them totally bomb in a small room full of fans and friends.

Al (sitcom), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 14:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I think its a two horse race between Orbital and the Super Furries, although Idleshite may be up there due to their annoying habit of turning up at every fucking festival ever.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 14:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Ack this question is totally fubared; my friend's band "Slut Em Go" I've probably seen more than any other band but I don't feel like talking about them. Maybe this is all just a big excuse to talk about Sonic Boom!! (PAGING KATE BOOM-PATROL) The first time I saw him was in 1995, at the Middle East in Boston. A friend and I drove from Providence just for the show. He played all the hits, it was incredible. "Revolution" and everything. Second time I saw him was at The Cooler in NYC about a year later. Apparently this was his Speak n Spell phase. He had like 10 of them on a table and triggered them all to say different things through difft effects boxes. He was alone with these Speak n Spells and it was weird, like we shouldn't have been seeing it or something, like it was too private. Lost little geek boy. The last time I saw him was at Brownie's (R.I.P.) and it was maybe the best live show I've ever seen by anyone. V v hard to put into words but by all indications it looked as if he might just fall over dead afterwards so maybe it was extra poignant for that reason, I don't know. The groop was extremely focused and quiet and into it; the entire set sort of worked as one big song, rising up from handclaps and fingersnaps and a lone tambourine at the beginning to full electric squalls of feedback at the end. I'm glad I saw each of these shows because I would have gotten a pretty skewed idea if I'd seen just one!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 14:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Local bands I've seen so many times I've lost track (Lightning Bolt, Mindflayer, Dropdead, Arab on Radar, etc). The out-of-town band I've seen the most is The Locust - I've seen them six times, and only once was locally, the rest I traveled for. (Once, The Locust had second billing. Headlining was.... Biz Markie. Fucking weird.) I've seen the Rah Bras about four times, once backing up Men's Recovery Project. I love the fact that people who normally wouldn't like synthy pop music go completely nuts for them.

Dave Fischer, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:06 (twenty-two years ago)

The Damned, must be well over 100 times, second probably Killing Joke.

Stewart Osborne (Stewart Osborne), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Spiritualized + The Fall, four times each. Pierce + co in Liverpool + Bradford were jaw droppingly good, disappointing much later in Amsterdam. The last Fall gig was a total shambles with a drunken Mark E. Smith attacking the light-fittings, struggling to remain upright, and other band members walking off-stage mid concert in disgust. I'd brought my Burundian pal G. telling him this was northern English working-class culture, he was most amused.

stevo (stevo), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Lightning Bolt

and in the 90's

H2O (hahahaha)

Jonathan Williams (ex machina), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Pierce + co in Liverpool + Bradford were jaw droppingly good, disappointing much later in Amsterdam

surprise surprise

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Does it count if you're performing as well? Because I've seen the BSO and Boston Pops more times than I can count now due to singing in their affiliated chorus.

If that doesn't count, then it's very easily The Cure, whom I've seen something like seven times.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:22 (twenty-two years ago)

saw Even As We Speak 8 times in one year (should've been 9 but was too late to the Reading acoustic gig and the doors were locked). Other than that, the Trembling Blue Stars probably the most. The last three gigs i was at all featured Pipas.

(have i set off anyone's twee detectors yet?)

andy

koogs, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Sixteen Horsepower (4 times, Woven Hand once), almost always good, sometimes superb, once tired and that really showed...
Calexico (3 or 4 times, and they're coming back in april...), always great! this band is amazing on stage. each time is different from the one before. greatest surprise act was when they brought a mariachi band along, the place went mad...

willem (willem), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:27 (twenty-two years ago)

DJs - Derrick Carter, easily, can't count the times.
Grooverider a close second.

Live: De La, Blak Twang, mostly because of irritating ubiquity at London music festivals and club nights.

Jacob (Jacob), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:28 (twenty-two years ago)

I've seen the cure and the old 97s six or seven times each. Ryan Adams and Lucinda Williams are up there too. There are a few local acts I'm pretty sure I've seen over 20 times.

teeny (teeny), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:29 (twenty-two years ago)

i have seen stereolab 30 times(!)

also spiritualized 18, merucry rev 13 (i dont know how ive racked up so many! i saw seefeel 8 times in one year and i dont even like them, they were just supporting other bands and playing festivals and shit)

gareth (gareth), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:37 (twenty-two years ago)

oi teeny are you from Nashville?

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:43 (twenty-two years ago)

there's plenty of djs i've seen lots of times, ressies especially, but none stands out. including this friday i'll have seen tom middleton 3 times this year; so him recently. the band i've seen the most is the beta band (3 times). i generally couldn't be arsed to see the same band as many times as some of the above have done(30 times????).

michael wells (michael w.), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Let's see...Spiritualized at six times, I think, followed by Stereolab and the Smashing Pumpkins at five. Then there's Jake Anderson in his various incarnations, put that at about six as well, probably more (as in formal shows). Probably missing someone obvious!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I've seen...

The Roots six times.
Medeski Martin and Wood seven or eight times, if you count HORDE Fest.
Ween five times.
Phish five times (though once it was a 2-day stint, so actually six).
Les Claypool related stuff (Primus, Frog Brigade, etc) five times.
Kool Keith six times.
Cincy band Iswhat!? five times.
Bernie Worrell and the Wu Warriors five times.
Local bands for whom I've lost count: Club Dub, Catawampus Universe, 10-Ft. Pole, Nine Pound Hammer, Lucid Grey, and my boyz Astrolyte

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:55 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah, i know its a lot! i go out a lot, the same things copr up again and again, i mean how else could i have seen a band i dont even really like 8 times in one year?!?

djs yeah, ive seen jeff mills quite a lot, and dave angel

gareth (gareth), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Locals - prawly Scrawl or Royal Crescent Mob

inbetween local and non-local: Pere Ubu

Non-locals - Mike Watt, Yo La Tengo - about 10 each I think.

dave225 (Dave225), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:57 (twenty-two years ago)

tracer, i saw sonic boom just once, but you will probably like to know that i still keep an empty bottle of methadone with peter kember's name and the date of the show on its label.
i don't even collect rock's memorabilia, but man, this is really something .

joan vich (joan vich), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:57 (twenty-two years ago)

not from nashville, from the mysterious midwest.

teeny (teeny), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Jon Carter about 15 times in the 15 months I'd say, haha, there was a drought during the summer cos I was away when he played Dublin and he didn't play Homelands UK but I rectified this at Creamfields and again in November. (I am not a stalker, I just love that Freq Nasty/Bring the Noise Bootleg)

Others, X-Press 2 4 times in the last while. Darren Emerson 4 or 5 times aswell. Dave Clarke the same.

And my friend Phil about 60 times maybe.

Ronan (Ronan), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 15:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Of bands anyone's heard of, it's got to be the Magnetic Fields. I've seen them, and Stephin's various other configurations, more than 50 times by this point. But even that pales next to Spiral Jetty and Tiny Lights, two NJ bands from my college years. I am sure I saw Spiral Jetty more than 100 times.

mike a (mike a), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 16:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I saw Cop Shoot Cop about fourteen times. I've seen Firewater about eight or nine times. I saw the Wedding Present about ten times. Seen the Buzzcocks about six times.

Sadly, I've only seen Killing Joke three times.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 16:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Bands/singers I've seen 4 times or more: Madness, Big Country, Primal Scream, Lewis Taylor, Dr John, Grateful Dead, David Bowie, Verve.

James Ball (James Ball), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 16:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Ned, how many times have you seen The Cure and Depeche Mode?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 16:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Sonic Youth: six times. Funny, I hardly listen to them now.

Sean (Sean), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 16:08 (twenty-two years ago)

gareth - i'm jealous of your life, i think. if you added up every live concert i've ever been to it would equal abt. half the number of times you've seen stereolab.

(of course live gigs are shit but it's the implications that sadden me)

michael wells (michael w.), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 16:11 (twenty-two years ago)

give me a man playing other people's records any day!

michael wells (michael w.), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 16:18 (twenty-two years ago)

i've seen the new deal almost a dozen times. after that it's a million way tie at three - orbital, derrick may, amon tobin, deftones, nin ect.

dyson (dyson), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 17:23 (twenty-two years ago)

I saw The Urge maybe 15 times through high school. (Then they became 311-lite and there was much weeping.)

bnw (bnw), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 17:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I probably saw God Is My Co-Pilot close to 100 times.

Beyond that, Fly Ashtray, VPN & Uncle Wiggly maybe 20-25 times apiece.

Unrest, Melt-Banana, the Mountain Goats, Lois, Sebadoh, Eggs, Spaceheads are all in the 10-15 range, I think.

Douglas, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 17:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Probably Mclusky but they are local and I've only seen them about eight times.

20-25 times and more are either very impressive totals or very silly. You decide.

meirion john lewis (mei), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 17:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Sahara Hotnights two times. MArk Kozelek / RHP two times.

, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 17:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Ramones 25-30 times.
Rush 15 times
Metallica 10 Times
Sonic Youth 8 times
Soundgarden 5 times
Sugar 5 times
Bob Mould 11 times

mal2478 (mal2478), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 17:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Redd Kross, wow, big surprise. Followed by the Cramps. Then Hole, probably. Iggy, I suppose. Birthday Party/Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. Then, in the friends from my youth category, the Student Teachers and the Speedies! I've really been to an awful lot of Go-Betweens shows over the years, too.

I regret only seeing the Ramones a couple of times. What was wrong with me?

Arthur (Arthur), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 17:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh, I'd put the Gun Club up there, right after Redd Kross, how could I forget?

Arthur (Arthur), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 17:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Probably the Sun Ra Arkestra, partly due to their being a "local" Philadelphia band.

When I started seeing them in the 80's, they featured more musicians, and their shows were a little more impressive as sheer spectacle than they are now (though the size of the band varies, and when they tour they often add musicians). I saw them once a month, at the same venue, from autumn of last year until some time this summer, and while I have to admit I was getting somewhat tired of some of the material, I was also impressed by the variety of moods at the shows I went to.

Rockist Scientist, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 18:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Anyway, that would be around 20 or so times for the Arkestra.

Second place might be Psychic TV who I saw eight times.

There may be some other local salsa bands that I have seen as many times as well, but I don't pay that much attention, since they tend to be good enough, but somewhat limited.

Rockist Scientist, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 18:07 (twenty-two years ago)

I somehow managed to forget Beck, Neil Young, George Clinton & the P-Funk All-Stars, Outkast, and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, all of which I've seen in the 3-5 times range.

I specifically left off Dave Matthews Band and Leftover Salmon, whom I've seen thrice each, but never ever enjoyed. Sometimes people buy me concert tickets.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 18:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't get out much and/or live too far away from a decent market;
Little Charlie and the Nightcats (thrice).
Guided by Voices (thrice).
The Pixies (thrice).
Triumph (thrice).

christoff (christoff), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 18:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Either Unwound, fIREHOSE, Nothing Painted Blue, Refrigerator, Pinback, Bloodhag, or Kinski.

donut bitch (donut), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 18:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Man or Astroman? 4 times.

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 18:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Low, completely by accident 9/10 times. Runner-up: Pan American who just seems to open for EVERYONE in Chicago. Intentionally: Flaming Lips four times as of New Year's Eve.

Ryan Pitchfork, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 18:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Seen the Sights about 30-40 times (through 4 drummers and 2 bassists)

Aaron W, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 18:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Ida about 7-8 times (give or take) - in CT (2 times), NYC (once), MA (3-4 times, give/take - most definitely on the "give" side, I imagine), and DC (once). First show ever outside of CT blah blah '97 blah blah who's Ida? blah blah life changing shockorama blah blah. And now you know the rest of the story.

After that, the Dismemberment Plan (4 times, I think - 1st time, pre-Emergency, Travis smacking the keyboard w/ his head in front of about 30 people, woo!), and then a smorgasborg of 3-timers, including Franklin Bruno, Low, Superchunk, Ted Leo, Lotion, the Ex, Sonic Youth, and other indie.rock luminaries. Favorite 2-timers = Lightning Bolt, Mission of Burma. Favorite one night stands = Bride of No-No, Shellac, Fuck, Archers of Loaf. Oddest concert moment = Don Caballero's drummer doing some sort of drumstick hand-jive @ the Knitting Factory opening for the Ex. (Bland, I know.) Last time I attended a concert in a club-type setting = 10 months ago. (Help!)

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 18:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Right, add D-Plan to my list as well. I've seen them four times, once a few weeks ago and they were just a nightmare. First time I'd ever seen them really blow it onstage. Seemed bored with all their songs, Travis Morrison debating with the audience for a full five minutes as to whether a pin he'd acquired said "WOW" or "MOM".

Ryan Pitchfork, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 18:53 (twenty-two years ago)

uh...some gville hardcore bands ... all at least 7-10 times:

moonraker
palatka
end of the century party
asshole parade
don martin 3

then not due to locale...

deerhoof

tful282
les savvy fav
harry pussy
the make up

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 19:55 (twenty-two years ago)

I'd like to hear a Pavement/Harry Shearer colab.

On the Simpsons.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 20:02 (twenty-two years ago)

I've seen Modest Mouse 5 or 6 times. A good friend of mine was their tour manager for a while, so it was mostly a chance to hang out with him.

Mark (MarkR), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 20:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Archers of Loaf, close to a dozen times
Number One Cup and Thrush Hermit - five times
Wooden Stars and Eric's Trip - four times
Half Japanese, Guided by Voices and Spoon - three times

Local bands, including the New Grand, Scratching Post, Salmonblaster, the Matadors, Two-Minute Miracles and the Weekend – countless

Bruce Urquhart (Bruce Urquhart), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 20:11 (twenty-two years ago)

I watched bis over 20 times between 96 and 98.

First time was in a packed Brighton Concorde (The original scout hut one) on a joint tour with SFA and it was a revelation. Shortly afterwards I did some unsolicited remixes of a couple of their tunes, and got to know them well enough to be able to get on the guest list for any of their gigs. I loved their live performances so much I timed my visits to friends around the country with their gigs.

Biggest stage I ever saw them on was the Southampton Guildhall, a venue that must hold at least 1500 as support to Ash, they were heckled throughout the whole performance, but continued to deliver a cracking set. Saw them two days later in Sheffield in the slightly smaller Octagon and they blew the entire crowd away with everyone pogoing like mad, and blew Ash entirely off stage.

Smallest was probably the Harlow Square in 1998 in front of about 20 fans, and 30 friends of the local (awful) support act. Probably when they were at the depths of their unpopularity, but despite that this was probably the start of their change of direction.

Scariest was the fan-only free gig at The Wag club previewing their second album material where they handed out questionnaires to the crowd to vote on the songs as they played them. My god they had some weird fans, and the lack of alcohol (it was an under 18’s gig) didn’t help.

Maddest was possibly when they played at the Feet First Club night at Camden (can’t remember the club, but it was a big one - “biggest indie night in London” or something). There was a slow trickle of people joining the band on stage at dancing, but by the end possibly 100 people were on stage with the band.

Most fun was possibly Reading Festival in 97 (I think) Last band in the tiny DrMartens tent, but a rammed crowd really up for seeing a band who hadn’t played in the country for a few months (they were “big in Japan”).

Never a bad gig, but then I was biased. Haven’t seen them for nearly 3 years as they usually only do a few of one-offs a year, and the only one in England is always in London, which I can never be arsed with.

Chewshabadoo (Chewshabadoo), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 20:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Ned, how many times have you seen The Cure and Depeche Mode?

The Cure, three times, Depeche five (so that ranks it up there with those others I mentioned, rah!). Radiohead is at four, I know that much...

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 20:43 (twenty-two years ago)

HA HA I'VE SEEN THE CURE MORE TIMES THAN YOU HAVE! *dance of glee*

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 21:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I probably saw the Urinals/100 Flowers thirty times, the Minutemen twenty times, and the Gun Club fifteen times.

dan (dan), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 21:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Pavement, The Orb (!), Stereolab, Dinosaur Jr, The Jesus Lizard-All six or seven times.Welcome to my world, where it's always 1992...
oh and Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev (thrice with the wonderful-I don't care what anybody says-David Baker).

Nordicskillz (Nordicskillz), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 22:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Calla (maybe 10), D Plan (same), Wilco (8, I think), Kerosene 454 (5 or 6), Fugazi (5 or 6), Secret Machines (5 or 6)... Lots more. I tend to see bands over and over and over...

Yanc3y (ystrickler), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 22:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Stereolab a really, really silly number of times. For a while they seemed to be at every festival I went to and I must have gone to at least 10 of their headlining gigs. Next is Tompaulin (friends band), and then probably Spiritualized/Orbital/Sonic Youth.

RickyT (RickyT), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 22:17 (twenty-two years ago)

(can't even remember how many times, could easily be into triple figures)

d, Tuesday, 17 December 2002 22:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Bands that definitely fall in the 15-20 category: Yo La Tengo, Scrawl, Mad Planets, Yo La Tengo, Holiday. 10-plus category: Sleater-Kinney, Velocity Girl, Tsunami, Beat Happening, Throwing Muses/Kristin Hersh, Mountain Goats, Unrest, Feelies.

mike a (mike a), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 22:37 (twenty-two years ago)

It's too expensive to see bands here, 25 or 30 euro versus about half that to see DJs. (if you have to pay, haha)

Ronan (Ronan), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 22:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Mira Calix and Plaid, both twice.

Leee (Leee), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 22:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Lightning Bolt, Arab on Radar, Vincebus Eruptum, Daughters and Anton Bordman all around 6-8 times.
Black Masks For Secrecy and Japanese Karaoke Afterlife Experiment about 5; Milemarker, Ted Leo and Dropdead four times apiece.

Ian Johnson (orion), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 22:42 (twenty-two years ago)

ummm the futurians and the strange girls.

chaki (chaki), Wednesday, 18 December 2002 00:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Afghan Whigs and Shudder to Think: each about 10 times.
Soul Coughing 8 or 9
Dismemberment Plan 7 so far.

j.lu (j.lu), Wednesday, 18 December 2002 03:36 (twenty-two years ago)

FUCK chaki, you're lucky. I've seen the Rheostatics about 10 times now, and it's a bad thing. I hate to be a prick bastard about it, but they just haven't been the same live since Dave Clark left. The best show I ever saw was Brutal Truth with Napalm Death opening. Danny Lilker ROOLZ. Gotta love a show where the band is way crazier than the crowd could ever be.

Bryan (Bryan), Wednesday, 18 December 2002 03:37 (twenty-two years ago)

the died pretty, probably more than 40 times over a 10 year period.

Dan, YOU are lucky. The Urinals/100 Flowers... that's a band I really wish I'd gotten to see. At all.

After I've seen certain bands a whole lot of times, it becomes interesting in a very different way--just to see how their treatment of their songs changes from night to night. The bands I see a lot tend to go out of their way not to repeat themselves.

suzy, you know Arturo? I've been trying to get hold of their records for ages and ages with limited success..

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Wednesday, 18 December 2002 22:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Lungfish, I think.

Oh, the jealousy pours from my fingers.

It doesn't help that they never tour, though. Really. A friend of mine once was like, "I think I saw Lungfish once, up in Boston ... I dunno, some Dischord band with beards."
