dyson, is your Elvis painted gold or is it of the semi-random airbrush technique (with the emphasis on the black, red, and turquoise facial colouring we traditionally associate with the aging Elvis)?

five things on/around my desk:

* Cowboy Bebop poster out of Newtype Magazine (the Japanese one; poster is from a few years ago). features text that reads, New York in 1941...Young, high sense jazz players came together at "Mintons Play House" in Harlem. They were fed up with existinc jazz plays, and desired to play freely as they'd like. At this club opening to everyone who want to play, they had jam sessions over again every night and competed with others. Eventually they did create a new style of jazz. It was definitely new mode, not just new song. Soon after that, it became to be called "BE BOP". Then, at the space in 2071...Bounty hunters came together in the space ship, "BEBOP". They had everything their own way, never cared about risks and broke up fixed style. They'd have new dream, and later it'll become of new film. This work, which is new mode itself, would be called, "COWBOY BEBOP". ahh, engrish. :)

*volumes 1 and 2 of the Atlas of Non-tumor Pathology.

*cup of Twinings' Blackcurrant tea with a bit of sugar and half-and-half.

*one of those cool staplers that stands on end and looks a bit like a shark jumping out of the water

*far too many yellow post-it notes
