dear god...every other time i have the poor judgement to flip past the local alt.rock station this horrible thing is on. i'm actually a little relieved to find out that there are supergroup credentials involved -- if this abomination had made it into heavy rotation purely on its own merits i'd be really scared.

I bought this album out of perverse curiousity, but was even more offended than by the J. Mascis concept album about skydiving (which was at least just boring). I should probably give another listen before reaching a verdict, but some guy barking over slow loops is not my idea of a good time (and the Streets isn't quite as grating). I thought it'd be more like Tim Armstrong's vocals on "Time Bomb." Sad, sad, sad.
