Okay I've got 16 now and i'm currently falling of the back of a sand phoenix.
Ever so slightly off topic but where is the 8th red coin, on his front when he turns upside down?

Really cannot remember.

[ot] Does anybody remember Squaresoft's 'Crono Trigger' for Super Nintendo? I always wondered what kind of instrument was used for the theme of the island floating in the sky... it sounded vaguely like a Sitar, but wasn't. [/ot]

It's on an island floating in the sky... just don't fall off, eventually you'll have a chance to get to the island.

Re: Chrono Trigger - it's probably just as close to a sitar sound as the SNES could handle.

Curtis Stephens, Tuesday, 7 January 2003 01:01 (twenty-two years ago)

You're probably right. I just found a sample taken from the Chrono Trigger OST, and it does sound like not-so-well-synthesized Sitar.

I feel offended in a vague way.

Yeah, me too.

You're right about the music in Noki Bay. Also, playing football with the prickly pears in "xXx Bay" (ie the one you're shot out of a cannon into, each time): Classic or Dud?

Cozen (Cozen), Tuesday, 7 January 2003 22:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I actually haven't played the game in about two months and don't know if i've reached that part. I don't remember kicking pears.

I don't remember the Mario Sunshine music offhand, but the G-funk moog action on Tallon Canyon in Metroid Prime = classic.

one month passes...
PIKMIN'S MUSIC DESTROYS EVERYTHING - LIKE A HARKING BACK TO THE IMPLICIT PARADIGM SHIFT OF THAT DARK SWIMMING-UNDERWATER LEVEL (3 STARS I THINK?) OF MARIO 64.
