dirtchamber sessions-classic or dud

stevem tried to bring this up on the coldcut thread, but i reckon it deserves a thread of it's own...
i rarely see it mentioned here, what do people think of it?
it may not be amazingly original but i do think it is a great mix,and if a "party" mix is what people are looking for,(which seems to be the case)it seems to be an obvious contender...

i listen to it about as much as i listen to the Coldcut one but that doesnt make it any less CLASSIC either...its funny because there was little fuss made about Howlett's mix but he did go about it in pretty much exactly the same way as 2 Many DJs in creating it (or at least the majority of it) thru cutting and pasting samples and sequences digitally (using an MPC2000 i think)...i do like the extracts of The Charlatans and Jane's Addiction (havent SOulwax done a bootleg of 'Been Caught Stealing' yet? shocking omission!) but they're probably the poppiest things on there - its reasonably hardcore/full-on otherwise

I like it. I miss the extra bass, scratching and the Grandmaster Flash sample when I listen to the regular version of The Mexican/For a Few Dollars More now, I've listened to the Prodigy's version so much.
