[EXAMPLE 1.1
Me: Do you think Kurt's upbringing played a crucial role in having Kurt become the musical genuis he was? And was his genuisnes limited to his circumstance? Or does his genuis transcend circumstance and make him as brillant an artist no matter the circumstance?

Can you believe our generation created such an ideotic form of writting style? Well, I can. I'm always a fan of chaos and witty displays of creativity. So fuck it.
And enough with this shit!
I came here to ask a question, and am I ever, oh so, curious. So let's get on with it. Shall we? Ok, first of all you're definitely going to need a lot of lube--don't ask questions! I seriously, hope you do decide to use the lube though, you'll need it.
Anyways, I'm in a band that is locating to the lovely city of Boston. And I'm wondering, what are some of you guys' opinions on the current Boston scene. Anybody in contact with the area frequently? Can anybody tell me what Boston tastes like? And, who are some of the bands home to Boston that are now starting to get a buzz? Anyboy review a few shows in Boston? What's the typical place an independent and original band will play for in the Boston area? A local bar or club?
Hey any and all thoughts and oppinions on the Boston scene will be gratefully appreciated.
So go to town motherfuckers!

move to somerville/allston/JP rather than boston proper, it's bettah in most cases. or cambridge, if you have the dough. the only part of boston i'd live in would be the fort point/south-ish area, where there are still some warehouses/loft spaces that can be gotten for decent prices. or maybe chinatown.

Yeah chinatown, that'd be neat! My brother, who's also in the band will be going to berkley, as is our drummer. Is there a neighborhood where a lot of poor students tend to locate to?

I like your attitude kid... ya got moxy, you're goin' places!
Anyway, how is the Boston scene, as compared to say New York or Seattle? These are all cities that seem interesting to me (My cousin lives in Brookline in Boston, so Ive been there and like it a lot, but know nothing of the music). What's the scene for, I guess "indie rock" (I still can't say it without feeling uncomfortable)?
I've lived in Detroit all my life, and while it has a great musical scene... that's all it's got. It litterally looks like the remains of a nuclear war.

A lot of poor students live in Allston. If your brother's going to be at Berklee, you might want to investigate the area around Symphony Hall or the Fenway; it isn't the cheapest, but there's a large student population due to the proximity of Northeastern, Berklee and Boston Conservatory (not to mention Simmons and Emmanual down the road).
In general, anything that gets you on the green line of the T or on Mass Ave will be good. Venues to check out... well, the Middle East is always cool. It's been so long since I've regularly gone to shows, I'm deeply out of touch with what's going on.
