Who was good and who was naff, S&D, CoD, etc... More specifically, can anyone suggest a good compilation that takes in Billy Fury, Marty wilde, Adam Faith, etc... Or the best single artist comps, esp for Billy Fury.

The Shadows' "F.B.I." and "The Savage" are great; after that it got a bit MOR, but with its own virtues (cf Marcello's poetry re "Wonderful Land" in the 1962 thread on ILE)
