Okay, so I know this name's been thrown around before, but I've just been listening to a scsi-9 live set from here, and this is high-quality stuff! Crisp, rolling, micro-percussion and plenty of warm dubbed-out synth textures. The only other thing I've heard by them is a downtemp track called 'the angel,' which is similarly incredible.

Anyone else digging this?

oh yeah, scsi-9 rules the school. there are a few pieces of his/her/their? work on the Trapez Selection Volume 1 compilation that was put out last year, you should check it out.

It's a pretty good techno-ish album; the last track, "My Sunday Zoo," breaks into a rather lovely glow-y shuffletech-y/microhouse-y thing halfway through; it's the only track to leave a real impression on me so far, though. (I used it to close a recent mix CD.)

digital russian is brilliant! theres a track called 'deep and fax' which gets me everytime. also check 'kroi menya po bitu'. the album is worth it for these two alone. bass heavy disco bumpers!

yeah, only played it a couple times and need to pay more attention. will do so soon, though.

I really like The Line of Nine. Any discussion about this one anywhere?
