I am looking for ways of listening to George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord". I really like this song and I kinda want the FULL version of this song. If anyone knows where I can find this it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much, Sean.

That's hardly real, RJG. I really would like the full version...

You want to steal royalties from poor dead George? For shame.

Justyn Dillingham (Justyn Dillingham), Saturday, 1 February 2003 04:33 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm not stealing. You have misunderstood me. I need to find a place to listen. I can play part of it on my piano (hence email address). That's all.

The only dead person from whom I would steal is Htiler.

DO you have a copy of "He's so Fine" by the Chiffons lying around the house? It's the same song...

Well, if you're going to steal, steal from Hitler. Sounds like a safe bet. Seriously, though, why don't you just download it? I know the chords, if it'll help, and it's a pretty simple song...p.s., "poor dead George", my ass. He's dead, yeah, but hasn't been poor in decades. He won't miss your $15!

Music piracy is wrong. Getting a crack of the new Waves plugin set (4 grand retail) is wrong.

Or is it?

You might check out the Nina Simone version, it's plenty long (and plenty good.)

What did Hitler have that you covet so?

Re the packaging on that album the Nina Simone version is on; what is up with that? Were they trying to make her appear like some kind of crack pot?

You're talking about Emergency Ward!, right? That is a very strange artifact.

This thread no longer makes sense

I hope you didn't lose your job because you couldn't play "My Sweet Lord", although if they'd fire you for that you deserve a better job anyway.

"I hope you didn't lose your job because you couldn't play "My Sweet Lord", although if they'd fire you for that you deserve a better job anyway."

I'm just copying everyone else, someone writes something, then the other prson reiterates it in italics and makes a statement about it.

What would I be fired from?

"former SF History Board administrator" led me to believe that you had lost that position, since you had previously posted as "SF History Board administrator", and the "former" was in italics.

Right you are, my boy. I did lose that position. I have a new SF history board somewhere else. People on this site like destroying boards with real purposes, so watch out.

Thanks for the warning! :)
The likelihood of me ever having a "real purpose", let alone a board expressing such, is small indded, though!
