Went to Zagat today and it seems they've opened a music survey for rating albums (much like they rate restaurants). If you comment on more than five they'll send you the resulting guide for free. You do have to submit the normal personal info to participate. Maybe they're just trying to get the names and addresses of the most opinionated music loving bastards on the planet so restaurants can refuse their reservations.

Anyway, for those of you who'd like to savage They Might Be Giants and praise Massive Attack (or vice versa) just follow the link ...

two years pass...

I remember this! In fact, I may own one. I signed up on the site but only submitted two reviews, but they still sent me one. It was a really bizarre mix of albums, and not completist at all, kind of fascinating in a "See what supposedly average music listeners care about" kind of way. I'll see if I can find it.

Well, I tend to agree, although the blurbs are at least as helpful as what you'd find on a typical Rolling Stone list, and there's much greater variety. I was trying to find something interesting to cite, though, and couldn't come up with much.
