the two wyld things compilations(one on f.nun one not) are both brilliant, there may actually be more now? i get an email update from skinny at action records, they seem to have great taste and i was always wanting to hear more la di das and bluestars or maybe the cave-in compilation from australia but for some reason i never follow up.

three months pass...
is there one Chants R & B record to look out for?

fritz you should e-mail ducklingmonster@hotmail.com about this, i believe she has the chants r&b album, she is a huge fan of 60s NZ garage stuff. keith is right, the wyld things comps are really good.

there's 2 chants r&b albums, the one i got is "stage door witchdoctors" which has all their singles stuff (all great) & some live stuff (same)....the other one is all live stuff, might be some of the same. get those, get the "wyld things " lps, get "#8 wire" which is sorta vol 3 of "wyld things" (the psych volume), get any/all of the "ugly things" series (mostly aussie stuff, some nz, nearly all great), get the reissue of the underdogs blues band album..... talk to skinny, he's got the stuff
