irish bands for a french tv show

could you send us any news concerning irish bands. these news will be used for a french tv show called DBDL. it's all about music and we'd like to make a collection on irish bands and/or events.

The leading Irish local bands are:

The Chalets

The Jimmycake

The Dudley Corporation

Large Mound

Joan Of Arse (surely they would go down well to a French audience)

SKATTER (funny electronic music)

Decal (serious electronic music)

and many others. The first two are BRILLIANT, the rest are every local band I can remember right now.

Perhaps also worth considering are: The Thrills, who may be destined for much success, and The Revs, if you want to make fun of Irish people by having a completely rubbish band on your show and then saying "and to think Irish people like that shite".
