How weird is that for a hip-hop track? No funk! No syncapation. Just amphetamine DRIVE.

while we're on the subject: are the individual albums especially worth owning or would Full Clip do the trick?

No question. Two reasons: "I was raised like a muslim" (even though he wasn't, it just sounded better) and that power-drill starting up noise that turns into genius scratching on the break.

Funny this got bumped, Gang Starr's been a blind spot for me and I gave them a good listen for the first time yesterday. Ended up ordering the second and third albums, albeit used copies. (I guess the CD's are OOP in the U.S.?)
