I used to think that Strange Advance were the greatest, but now I realize they Arnott. (See what I did there?) Still, "She Controls Me", "Worlds Away" and "We Run" are all killer.

Images In Vogue were better.

two weeks pass...
After 15 years, I still think they are great. I mean, they weren't the kind of band that you'd hear about on the news for drug O.D. or suicide whatsoever. They will forever have my deepest appreciation. And Drew Arnott? He's my favorite. He's such a sweetie.

Just want to ask, does anyone here, have any pictures or anything of Strange Advance? Size doesn't matter. I need pics for my fan site that I started creating. If you could scan them, and e-mail them to me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

seventeen years pass...

Bumping this thread to declare that Strange Advance are my favorite Canadian musical artist of all time. As Sean C knows full well. And I've been listening obsessively to Worlds Away, 2wo, and The Distance Between. Also, Drew Arnott have gotten A band back together (no Darryl Kromm, though) and they're WORKING ON A NEW ALBUM! Also, they would've been doing some tour dates this year but, well, you know what happened, but they'll be coming to a venue near you -- so long as you live in Canada -- next year. And I'm pleading the case for an Austin tour stop.
