Jon Langford and his Sadies

I don't like Langford, but I love the Sadies. This'll be a hard bullet to bite for me.

I like both Langford and "his" Sadies on their own, but I don't think the CD does either of them justice. I saw them playing together recently, and they were definitely better live. Partly because they did lots of songs that weren't on this CD. I don't think the material is all that strong. Yer better off getting the new Sadies album (Stories Often Told - quite country/psychedelic in a heavily Byrdslike way, and quieter than the rest of their work, but good, too) and a bunch of older Mekons albums.
