And it looks great. Read through about half of it yesterday. The cover story is "Pay Not to Play," where Chunklet is offering money to bands who will break up (and yes they are serious, there are many stipulations, however). Our own Momus gets offered a cool grand to stop playing! Anyway, another stellar issue. BUY IT!

Heh heh heh. Good to hear, I shall investigate...

I didn't like it as much as the last couple o' issues, but there were still some great parts, ESPECIALLY the AC/DC board meeting. Funny as shit.

I don't think it's as great as the last two issues either. I dug Patrick Gough's piece comparing geographically named bands to their real life locations. Very clever.

I dropped the ball for this issue. Had several pieces I was supposed to do, but got lazy and didn't finish any of them. I feel guilty about that.

the t-shirt thing was great (love 'Joy Division isn't a genre, asshole') but I didn't really feel like shelling out eight bucks for interviews with the faces of comedy central.

five years pass...

the new one is hilarious. in order not to annoy co-passengers i had to cover my face many times on the bus ride from madison ("it's like you're not really in wisconsin") to chicago ("waiting patiently for the 90's post-rock revival to pay the rent!"). the music journalist application form is top-notch as is basically the whole thing

does this really still exist?
