So, have any of you ever seen Victor Wooten or Blea Fleck and the Flecktones live? Sweet concert if you ask me.

I saw them once a few years back on the Acoustic Planet v.1 tour, and it was an excellent show. What are the shows like this year? I was pretty turned off by the last couple albums and the vocal contributions...is that prominent?

I saw the flecktones in september of 2002, and it was just plain sick. It was the coolest performance I had seen in my life, I got to admit that I don't care to much for the vocal contributions that much either, but an awesome show, none-the-less.
Victor Wooten's band is really amazing this year, Victor does magic tricks and plays some sweet lines on bass. An awesome show, but again, I was somewhat bothered by some of singing they had.

it wasn't the coolest performance I've ever seen, but they were pretty good. Wooten had a really cool bass solo where he flung the bass around his back, and etc.

saw this dude last night with his band and it was a blast! never had heard of him before, dude is a freaking virtuouso

did he do the thing where he spins the bass all the way around his body once or twice and then catches it and slaps it? he did it about 30 times when i saw him opening for dave back in high school

except he pulled it off perfectly

he also busted a string during one of his solos, got it caught on the mic stand, then started playing that string, until someone who worked there dashed onstage, detached the string, and grabbed the ipad that was part of the mic stand. was p lol
