Fuck....the above is the first Payola$ album.

Meanwhile, the BACK cover of this one had a great gas mask shot:

I was gonna post the Carnivore cover but I thought it might have been the silhouette of a skull rather than a gask mask.

I can't find a .gif of it, but Andre Cymone's "Surviving in the 80s" LP has a great gas-mask cover.

the ween album cover is an all-time classic. i wonder if Mr. Cohen knows of the creative use to which Dean and Gene put his album cover?

Robert Price (Robert Price), Sunday, 16 February 2003 14:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Natalie Merchant's last album 'Motherland' was going to be the ultimate gasmask pic - little kids with gasmasks on holding the US flag if I remember, anyway the record label forced the change, as it was released the week after 9/11. There was a hip-hop band who were releasing an album with a plane hitting the Twin Towers too, they also changed. I'll try and find a pic for both.

Gas mask, dirty vest and jogging bottoms is some A+++ survival kit for nuclear war.

More of a gas suit than a gas mask, but an incredible album cover nonetheless.
