Life Without Buildings do Prince

Life Without Buildings have covered Prince's "Pop Life" for the Homesleep covers compilation. I've been listening to it for a few weeks now and it really is a fantastic track - all it needs is a drum machine and it's virtually peak-period Altered Images.

Has anyone else heard it? Thoughts?

Yeah, it's old, the comp came out a while ago. The comp itself is a nicely mixed bunch, some good, some eh -- this particular cover's pretty good though.

It's very very important that find this on Soulseek in the very very near future.

I thought the compilation as a whole was quite good, eg the Of Montreal version of "Friends of Mine" is excellent, as is the decidedly un-ironic version by Fuck of "Oops I Did It Again"

I need to remind myself who else is on that thing. Good version of "Plainsong," I recall.

I been looking for this ever since I first heard about it, but haven't been able to find it online. Like Adam A., it's important that I find this on Soulseek in the near future.

Attention all, this is now on Soulseek. Very good it is too. (Called "04-Homesleephome-Life without buildings - pop life.mp3" and in my 'downloading (mp3)' folder).
