It'll be something beyond my control in San Sebastian. But I'd like it to be either Song 2 by Blur or The Perfect Kiss by New Order so I could go into the New Year in a suitably mindless state. I could think of something heartfelt and sensitive, but that'd be silly, wouldn't it?

Since fate seems likely to deliver me into the hands of Mr.Baran this year, I suspect it'll be "She's A Man" by Thurman. You can tell, apparently, by his hands. I want it to be "Happy New Year" by Abba, of course.

Which I have only gone and listed in my Top 10. As I would have done every New Year since 1989, for that matter. The only Abba song that actually makes me cry; indescribably perfect.
