Buried somewhere in the thread that asks "Find a Song that Everyone on ILM Hates" I proposed Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA". No one there claimed to like it, but I want to make sure we run this by ILM as a whole. Does ANYONE like this song? If you hate it, just ignore this thread. This thread for people who like this song only. If you like it, tell us why here. Then it's back to the drawing board for finding a song everyone hates.

I've never heard this song, UK radio stations won't play it for some reason. I Googled the lyrics though, and I think it's great on the strength of those alone. I actually fear it will impair my approval of this song if I actually hear it. Is that OK for your thread?

(mark did you live on the nw corner of larkin and geary? there's a yummy vietnamese restaurant there on the ground floor.... plus that's in very close proximity to kimo's and the hemlock, two of the more forward thinking clubs in the past 2-3 years in SF...).

It's not a favorite of mine, but it's still a nice song. I think it gets too much BS from hatas.
