help with (smog) song

is anyone familiar with a (smog) song about a hit man? the narrative involves a man paying someone to kill his wife, and he shows him a picture and says "hit this, hit man". i've heard him play it live, but don't know if it's ever been recorded, and if so, where. it might be a cover, but if so i don't know whose song it is. i just got 'supper' in the mail and listened to it straight through and it's not on there. thanks for the help.

a couple of longshots:

"be hit"

or

"a hit":

it's not going to be a hit
so why even bother with it?
it's not going to be a hit
so why even bother with it?
just lay it down, and forget about it
lay it down fast, forget about it

i'll never be a rock and roll saint
i'll never be a rock and roll saint
cause i can't sing
oh no i can't sing
that's not the only reason
that's not the only reason

i'll never be a bowie
i'll never be an eno
i'll never be a bowie
i'll never be an eno
i'll only ever be a gary numan

i'll never be a rock and roll saint

No, it's a new song. Hasn't been released yet (if it's not on Supper).

the song hasn't yet been recorded but is a live show closer, and will form part of a future 5/6 song smog EP, the other songs on which have yet to be written.

I saw him play this song too and it was fantastic. I was hoping it would be on Supper.

How is Supper?? Can't wait to hear it. What's it like in comparison to Rain on Lens and Dongs of Sevotion?

How do you know this sebadude?

"supper" is good - it's most similar to "rain on lens" but probably better (and that one has never really felt as satisfying to me). a very cohesive listen from start to finish, with none of the (wonderful) curveballs of kids' choirs or cheerleaders, yet solid. anyway, it's got that (smog) quality of brilliance pulled off extremely casually.

thanks for the info on the EP... sounds like it's unfortunately going to be a long time coming.

Why? This is Smog we're talking about -- I wouldn't be surprised if we saw it before the year was out.
