Life in Kettering : Help!

I've been sent on a course in Kettering this week. Anybody know if there are any decent record shops in or around Kettering to which I can sneak off?

Kettering by the looks of things only HMV and the rebranded Our Price, that is now V2.

that should be VShop. They have one near where I live [Vshop], expect only the top 60 or so, plus a small selection of new releases/recent releases and big name back cat mid price CDs.

DJM, you are the fount of all knowledge as ever! If I get really bored I may give HMV a look, but I'm certainly not going anywhere near VShop. It takes a breathtaking level of incompetence to take a chain as woeful as Our Price and make it WORSE. In the Richmond branch mobile phones outnumber CDs. Still, no doubt Virgin's marketing dept. have decided that's what people *want*.

If you can, try popping a few minutes down the the road to Northampton where the ever reliable 'Spin A Disc' on Abingdon St(in the centre)stocks a grand selection. There's also a bigger HMV and , indeed, a Virgin Megastore in N'pton too... might be worth your while, but it might be too far?
