This is just for my own count, really. It's somewhat related to the "most ILM populated cities," but I want a head count. Who's a Brit? An American? An Austrailian? Other?

I'm American, in case you couldn't tell.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 03:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Southern by the Grace of Gawd, fukkas!

James Blount (James Blount), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 03:48 (twenty-three years ago)

Not southern, though i was certainly born south of the Mason Dixon line. Well, if it extended past the Rockies, anyways...

Not a brit neither. But i've been known to pass as one.

Matt Maxwell (Matt M.), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 03:57 (twenty-three years ago)

American as can be (though born in Germany, it was on a U.S. army base).

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 04:04 (twenty-three years ago)

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 04:19 (twenty-three years ago)

I was a ten pound immigrant. Technically a Brit. Live in Australia.

kate, Wednesday, 5 March 2003 11:22 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm on your side Kate :-)

I'm from all over the place but essentially an Italian-Scots hybrid.

Marcello Carlin, Wednesday, 5 March 2003 11:30 (twenty-three years ago)

Rather than the tried and hackneyed and oft debated brit/yank/aussie/kiwi music divide, I'm much rather wonder about how *not* having a sense of place or nationality affects one's critical and aesthetic appreciation of music.

KATE, Wednesday, 5 March 2003 11:43 (twenty-three years ago)

New Jersey. Born and bred.

We can find that out, too!

Now, see, that just makes sense. There is still some order to the universe.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 13:41 (twenty-three years ago)

"I`m a British subject, not proud of it
While I carry the burden of shame...."

Stewart Osborne (Stewart Osborne), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 14:27 (twenty-three years ago)

German, raised in Portugal. My sense of national identity tells me Trio were great, but they would have been even greater if they had had more songs about mourning and hoping your husband hasn't died at sea.

Daniel_Rf (Daniel_Rf), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 14:59 (twenty-three years ago)

Sicilian.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 15:15 (twenty-three years ago)

British-Dutch.

stevo (stevo), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 15:24 (twenty-three years ago)

Ever so American. And a Navy brat instead of an Army one, therefore clearly brought up in a much more sane, noble and serene environment than those soldier people. They have some stupid military academy on the Hudson River, don't they?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 15:59 (twenty-three years ago)

You mean, West Point, Ned?

s samson, Wednesday, 5 March 2003 16:06 (twenty-three years ago)

Remind me to signal my sarcasm a little more thoroughly in the future, please.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 16:13 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm Irish. that makes me more British than American.

DV (dirtyvicar), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 16:36 (twenty-three years ago)

father - Texas, mother - Georgia, me - Tennessee

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 5 March 2003 17:23 (twenty-three years ago)

I should establish that I'm an Army RESERVE brat, my dad was a supply sargeant. And before and after that he was a substitute teacher. I was never around army stuff too much after 4th grade. Plus my parents separated early enough that I'm probably more influenced by the fact that I've always lived in college towns, with whom I have a love-hate relationship with.
