Why is that I can't resist to CD sales?

It's stronger than me: when I see shelves of CD's on sale, I always end up spending money on CD's that I wouldn't look at otherwise. Is it just me or is it a plague threatening the whole music-loving community?

They're cheap - how could you resist? Next time they might not be cheap?

I suffer from this - when I was young and had far less records it amde perfect sense and I discovered lots of good stuff as well as buying some crud. Nowadays I need to be more selective and only buy stuff I actually am interested in...but sometimes I think "that looks interesting" or "that labels put out some good stuff" etc etc.

Check out free bins in stores/radio stations. Those are hard to resist, but the music is usually awful.
