i'm driving a big convertible car down a freeway somewhere in southern california. its summer 1973. i have a pale blue suit on, although it could just as easily be cream or beige. my shirt has a collar which is a different color to the rest of the shirt. i have overgrown shaggy hair and a moustache, which signifies that i'm still with it, and can cut with those younger cats, and i display the evidence of post-counter culture, because i'm not the man ok? i'm like a younger james coburn. i'm thinking of tonight, when i'll drink bourbon in a single storey bar, there'll be hawaiin detritus all around. my girls sandy and linda will be there and i'll probably take one, or maybe both, back to my new apartment block. life is good.

i'm listening to one of the Bob James 1 through 4 albums, what else should i be playing?
