They were kind of a very political Last Poets sort of thing, but with more of an instrumental side. They may not have even been anything so hot, but I would like to hear them again.

Nobody knows anything about this still? It's weird. I feel like I am the only person who ever heard them. Whenever I mention them, anywhere, nobody ever says they have heard them, or even heard of them. Are we all that afraid of Homeland Security?

(I didn't give a very good explanation above: they were more jazz oriented than the Last Poets, if I recall correctly.)
