Echoboy. I really liked Volume One and Volume Two, but seeing them live, gah, they were just apallingly awful, really EARNEST and stadium rock, they came off like the IDM U2. Feh! I can't even listen to the records now.

Royal Trux were even more insulting live than they are on record, but maybe I'm missing THE POINT. We saw them outside the Garage and told them so. They just stood there.

I'm thinking of the one person (name withheld) who emailed me begging me for an interview in my zine, and then copping an attitude when I met said person weeks later at a show. It's like, why even bother contacting me in the first place if you're then going to be like that?

My friend is a massive Fall fan and had a very, very nasty experience when he met them. He ended up wandering around an unfamiliar city because they'd taken his very pissed lady friend back to their hotel and wouldn't let him in.
