voyager one and kinski put up some good space rock,
sientific american & land of the loops put down good electronic shit, fcs north plays great organic beatie jazz type music,
damien jurado = good americana roots
and more.

Weeeeell, Melvins were orig. from Aberdeen, then moved to SF, now they're in LA... I mean, you can include Aberdeen as Seattle if you want, but then you might as well include Olympia as well, and that's just wrong.
