They have the only Puget Sound-area Krispy Kreme there. That's nice.

FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN ISSAQUAH - I SALUTE YOU!

Microsoft is also building a new campus there. Which will only serve to make traffic even worse.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! (I'm glad I wasn't the only one to catch that "mecha" thing...I should've guessed it woulda been jess to beat me to it.)

issaquah's selling out. once strict building codes have eroded to an anything goes city council, leading to new freeway off/on ramps, a home a despots, a frederic meyers, a microsoft campus,... fuck! another suburban shithole.

j.a.e., Friday, 4 April 2003 02:19 (twenty-two years ago)

sorry, that should read 'a home despot' but when i get frustrated, i type poorly.

j.a.e., Friday, 4 April 2003 02:20 (twenty-two years ago)

DONT THEY NOW THAT ISSAQUAH IS HOLY LAND?!

, Friday, 4 April 2003 03:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I better get St. Isaac Brock's day off work, in that case.

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 4 April 2003 03:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Besides, I think Steilacoom, Spanaway, Enumclaw, and Tokeland make far better meccae.

donut bitch is right: the top pot (alto zeitgeist) makes the best nuts, AND the service is sexier.

(Issaquah is actually about 40 minutes out from Seattle, and just far enough away to not have those "Eastside" qualities, but that may change soon, if all this development is a sign... still though, they get a reeeaally nice close-up view of the Cascades.)

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 4 April 2003 14:56 (twenty-two years ago)

I like the Top Pot donuts just fine, but sorry, I still prefer the Krispy Kremes.

mike a (mike a), Friday, 4 April 2003 16:24 (twenty-two years ago)

issaquah is plenty eastside. i'm not pro-KK, btw, just sayin

my cousins are all hyped on some vegan donut place in wallingford, i think. the donuts were pretty good. the best donuts i ever had were in port alberni (?) on the way out to barclay sound

ron (ron), Saturday, 5 April 2003 00:20 (twenty-two years ago)

MIGHTY O VEGAN DONUTS! YES YES YES!

donut bitch (donut), Saturday, 5 April 2003 02:32 (twenty-two years ago)

aye, that's the one. are you going to mike watt? i don't feel up to going out :(

ron (ron), Saturday, 5 April 2003 03:02 (twenty-two years ago)

maybe the creation of sammamish lessened the eastsideness of issaquah, that's as far as i'm willing to concede the arg. ;-)

ron (ron), Saturday, 5 April 2003 03:18 (twenty-two years ago)

well, you kinda have seniority, so your word is my mom.

donut bitch (donut), Saturday, 5 April 2003 08:06 (twenty-two years ago)

well, you kinda have seniority, so your word is mom.

donut bitch (donut), Saturday, 5 April 2003 08:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Never mind me. I'm really tired. Too much thunderbroom.

donut bitch (donut), Saturday, 5 April 2003 08:08 (twenty-two years ago)
