That is funny, James Blount; especially because I will always treasure an audio clip of Bobby Ross saying "Abandon ship! Whoomp! Whoomp! Whoomp!"

When he was the coach of the Lions, he had a press conference after a typically disgusting loss. Some writer wonk asked him about a blown coverage leading to a big pass play by the opposition. Bobby said something to the effect of, at the line of scrimmage, when the corner breaks off the safety needs to come over; that it should be an alarm like "Abondon ship! Whoomp! Whoomp! Whoomp!" (Bobby doing his best onomatopoeic approximation of a battleship).

It was fucking hilarious. The sports talk shows cut it up and had a field day with it, believe me.
