Choose LIFEHOUSE. Choose a HAUJOBB. Choose a career. Choose a LOUD FAMILY, Choose a fucking big TELEVISION, Choose washing MACHINES OF LOVING GRACE, CARS, compact disc players, and electrical TIN MACHINE openers.
Choose leisure MENSWE@R and matching luggage. Choose a three piece SUITE 19 on hire purchase in a RANGE of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a SUNDAYS morning. Choose sitting on that COUCH FLAMBEAU watching mind-numbing SPIRIT-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking JUNKIE XL food into your MOUTH MUSIC. Choose ROTTING CHRIST away at the end of it ALL, pishing you LAST EXIT in a miserable home, NOTHINGFACE more than an EMBARASSMENT to the selfish, fucked-up BRATMOBILE you have spawned to REPLACEMENTS yourself. Choose your FUTURE SOUND OF LONDON. Choose life.
But who would I want to do a JENNY THING like that?
I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got GIL-SCOTT HERON?

I err, saw Metallica when they played the Milton Keynes bowl in '94 or something like that, and before The Almighty came on some loon Scot took to the mic an announced something like: "and now, from Glasgee Scotland, the al-loud, the al-wild, the Al-fucken-Mightee." That's got to be right up there.

New Fast Automatic Daffodils. I interviewed Bobby Gillespie around the time of Screamadelica and while he was very responsive his accent was practically impenetrable. He really liked Nation of Ulysses and showed up at their show at the Pyramid that night. ooops, I guess I'm off the topic...

Speaking as the proud of owner of a Scottish accent I can assure you that Bobby Gillespie's accent is far from impenetrable. Why would "New Fast Automatic Daffodils" sound good in a Scottish accent? In my experience, girls love when you say "Girl" in a Scottish accent.

I think New Fast Automatic Daffodils sounds funny in any accent, Scottish included. Maybe Gillespie's accent has mellowed over the years, but when I talked to him in 1992 it was kinda thick.Maybe imprenetrable is exagerrating. Pardon me for embellishing.
