i had a dream last night about sitting alone in a bar pigging out on chicken nuggets to the soundtrack of some Foghat-esque classic rock tune about chicken, and was very disheartened to realize upon waking up that no such song exists. I have now decided Kenny and Lemmy should collaborate to bring this dream song into existence.

Hawkwind > The First Edition

Plus "Ace of Spades" was featured in the single best Young Ones episode ever.

six years pass...

“Raj paid $4 million to have Kenny Rogers come to a birthday party at his house and sing his favorite song, ‘The Gambler,’ over and over again. Kenny refused to go on after a dozen times.”

Ha! Both of these guys are in the news now. Kenny for the bizarre $4 million hedge fund gig, and Lemmy just had a huge feature article in Rolling Stone.

It focuses on the day to day life of Lemmy, which consists of drinking massive amounts of bourbon in a bar on the sunset strip. He also has a huge collection of nazi memorabilia, but the article takes pains to point out that he's not a nazi sympathizer or anything like that.
