Ah said yooooooooooooooooooou gots me horrr-nay...

Also possibly most rubbish pop criminal of all time. Records song 'Only God Can Judge Me' after getting done for getting someone to do his community service for him. A prat, yet bizarrely all the more lovable for it...

RETURN OF THE MACK

I remember Melody Maker's (I think) interview with him where the journo commented that Mark Morrison wiped his hands with paper tissues throughout the interview more frequently than would have been thought humanly possible (or necessary).

Despite this: dud!

He grew up in Rushey Mead (fairly nice North Leicester suburb with one of the best schools in the city) but he likes to pretend these days that he's from Highfields (the nearest we have to Brixton, and it's really not very much like Brixton) because that's at least semi-believable as gangsta territory. His whole life as a desperate criminal is crap too - possessing an illegal stun gun, being on the fringes of other people's brawling, dodgy community service shenanigans. "Rubbish" is rating him too highly, I think.

he is an absolute twat... didn't he also make a malcolm x/tysonesque conversion to islam while behind bars!!?!?!

Dave Stelfox, Tuesday, 15 April 2003 13:30 (twenty-two years ago)

not that this in any way criteria for being a twat, but does give an indication of his delusions of grandeur in trying to emulate such prominent figures when he will only ever be remembered for being a pillock!

I've got his debut album -- neither DUD nor CLASSIC.

Actually, Classic for getting a "lookalike" to do his community service for him.

'Return Of The Mack' is a very well-produced nice piece of work - the original versions of 'Crazy' and 'Lets Get Down' were not too bad either - everything else is absolutely horrible and must be destroyed at all costs.
