Always one of my faves I'm not ashamed to admit. Is there anyone awho remembers this with the same amount of fondness, or knows much about them?

I found this on a french website, and put it through one of those text mangling french-english machines, and what came out is kinda sweet...

Rah Band draws its name from its leader, Richard Anthony Hewson (take initial, that made R.A.H.), a London arranger which worked much for Beatles but also Supertramp of the end of the Sixties at the end of the Seventies. It formed Rah Band into 77, and groups it was some successes, but "Clouds across the moon" remains most enormous, in 1985. Then I knew that Hewson had assembled another group, Key West, which tried the hit-parades towards 94 with a song entitled "Looks like I' m in coils again", but I do not know. I find that "Clouds..." is really a sublime song: one would tell to a bluette a little idiot like that with these a little childish arrangements, but when the words are included/understood, tragic dimension becomes obvious. Me that spins me shivers each time... I find that this title is a pure pop wonder, but obviously, I hear of it already rĂ¢ler at the horizon...; -)

on xfm's remix 3 fridays back, they played a
mash-o of 'intergalactic' by beastie boys
and some cool funk tune by
a mr speaker treats which had an intro sampled
off 'clouds across...'. i thought this
was xtremely cool indeed. i have the 12 " version
on my highly prized 'now dance' comp from 1985.

'i'll try again..next year...next year'
(sniff).
