I was at a 60th birthday party for a cousin-in-law tonight. Somebody put on a Max-a-Million song off iTunes at one point, much to the consternation of my cousin-in-law. He went over to the computer and started searching for Marshall Tucker. I pointed him to Grooveshark, and when he found the song he wanted--a long live version of "24 Hours at a Time"--he interrupted Max-a-Million mid-song. It was just like the scene in Quadrophenia where the mods rip the Cascades record off the turntable and put on "My Generation," adapted for the digital era. The song was new to me. Sounded great.
