Does anyone on ILM know about them?

If not, then what about
Die Verbanten Kinder Evas?
Kill Switch...Klick?
Diverje?

A bunch of mopey creeps...Classic or Dud/Search and Destroy/Taking Sides/Only Connect...etc. etc. etc.

Never liked Assemblage 23, but DVKE is a Michael Gregor/Richard Lederer project and therefore automatically classic.

My friend spun at their show the other night but wolves could not drag me to a goth-industrial show in New Orleans (at the Shim-Sham, natch). That said, some evil industrial can be quite fun--Spahn Ranch's In Parts Assembled Solely EP is great. Of the others I only know Kill Switch... Klick and they suck. It's all just goth variations on the Mortal Kombat theme (which is classic).

Bands in approx. the same vein that I like much better:

Haujobb (Daniel Meyer is a synth programming Godgod)
Scar Tissue
Battery

also Apoptygma Beserk, but I like the recent v. poppy stuff more than the darker older stuff

Haujobb is an excellent band that I always felt got stuck in a crappy genre ghetto and therefore never got the audience it deserved. Solutions for a Small Planet was the album that got me into IDM/d'n'b, and is still one of my favourite albums ever.
