Please Tell Me That I'm Having A Violent Auditory Hallucination, And That Fallacy Isn't Doing Vocals On Craig David's New Single

I'm sure I speak for the sane population of this planet when I say "What the fuck?". I mean, I like money as well, but not that much.

Yeah, I know, obviously this can only help British hip-hop, because Roots Manuva was too British and Blak Twang was too hip-hop to really break the charts, and, yeah, both Fallacy and Craig David have dabbled with garage before, and this will probably make sure that "Big N Bashy" is the hit it should be, and all that.

But, on the other hand, Craig fucking David?

I fail to see how this is any odder than, say, ODB appearing on Mariah Carey singles. Makes a lot of sense actually.

The thing is, it's a remix, and it's so obviously a remix where the remixer was given the remit "OK, how about something a bit... urban". So remix boy makes his rubbish "Oooh, it's a bit dub, it's a bit dancehall, it's a bit garage, it's a lot rubbish" beats, and then shoehorns Mr David's vocals that have the strength of an anorexic's fart over the top, and then Fallacy turns up, and, unless I'm mistaken, says "blacksmith".

I mean, someone somewhere thought this was a good idea.

I dunno, that sounds sorta fun! I'll take "Blacksmith" over someone randomly interjecting "Noodles."

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this at all - why shouldn't he collaborate wiith craig david. this happens a lot in US hip hip/r&b so why not british... they probably arent snobby about each others' music either so it isn't a problem for them and for my money fill me in and re-rewind are probably two of the finest tunes of the past decade...

the classic party chant "hip hip hooray!" will soon be replaced with "hip hop/r&b!"
